Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking assistance in locating an at-risk missing person, Armando Velazquez Centeno. He is a 25-year-old Hispanic male who was last seen on April 8, 2025, at 11:45 p.m., on the 14400 block of Olive View Drive, in the city of Sylmar.

April 5th, 2025, was Sylmar's Fenton Ave. Charter School's 3rd annual SPRING Resource Fair. We were joined by our California State Senator Caroline Menjivar and our California State Assemblywoman Celeste Rodriguez. Great food, wonderful....
SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles firefighters have confirmed that lightning was the cause of a fire that engulfed a palm tree in Sylmar and extended to the side of a two-story residence Thursday afternoon.
